Drax Valenti in Scarlet Pimpernel Shock!

All-round fop and self proclaimed 'New Romantic Prog Rocker', Drax Valenti has been seen in Paris amid crowds of peasants and moving with purpose around the much feared Madame Guillotine. Heavily disguised, Valenti has managed very successfully to blend in with the angry Frenchies going by the pseudonym of Monsieur Dreyfus-O'Leary. Asked to comment on these activities Valenti has said:

"I can't deny, I have been looking to tie the 'French Sound' into our music. Their simplistic beats and minimalist bass lines have long been influencing my approach to writing. But for this to mean I'm the Pimpernel... "

Photon's comments, in a press conference yesterday, allude further to the the accusations:

"Drax is perfectly entitled to do whatever makes him happy, as long as it doesn't eat into the band's professional commitments. I'd like to say though, that perhaps his New Romantic fascination has now gone a little too far. Simon Le Bon, in his most foppish attire only appeared in that Carry On film - you know the one.. he was the 'Black Fingernail'.... wasn't he...?"
